Guangdong OPPO Mobile Telecommunications Corp., Ltd. (registered at No.18 Haibin Road, Wusha, Chang'an, Dongguan) and its affiliates ("OPPO", "we", or “us”) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. We therefore formulate this Privacy Policy, specifying how we collect, use, disclose, transfer, and store your personal information when you use our websites, mobile apps, or services in work. Before using the system and submitting your personal information, please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand how we handle your privacy.

Definitions

"Affiliate" means the company under common ownership or control with OPPO.

"Third party" means the company or person not under common ownership or control with OPPO (non-affiliate), or other irrelevant individuals.

"Personal information" means information that relates to an identified or identifiable natural person.

1 How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information

To ensure that you can use our system normally during work, we need to collect your personal information for the following purposes:

1.1 To grant account privileges to you, we need to collect your name, gender, department, position, job grade, employment date, mobile phone number, email address, and other information.

1.2 To ensure the security of your account, we need to collect your device information (such as IMEI number, IP address, and MAC address) for security control.

1.3 To maintain the normal running and security of the system, when you use OPPO services, the server automatically records some information, including but not limited to the URL, IP address, browser type, language, and access date and time.

1.4 This system is only used for work, and you shall avoid uploading content and information irrelevant to your work. As this system is only for adults, please do not upload personal information of minors in the system.

2 How We Retain Your Personal Information

The retention period of the personal information we collect is the minimum amount of time required to achieve the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required by laws. We will delete or anonymize your personal information upon expiry of the abovementioned retention period. When you leave the company, the administrator will remove your account and relevant information in the back-end system.

3 How We Disclose Your Personal Information

3.1 OPPO may, from time to time, share part of your personal information with its affiliates and the strategic partners that work with OPPO to provide products and services.

(1) Affiliates: Your personal information may be shared with affiliated companies of OPPO. We share only necessary personal information, and such sharing is restricted to the purposes stated in this Privacy Policy. We will ask for your permission and consent again if the affiliates use your personal information for other purposes.

(2) When we are in a process of merger, acquisition, or bankruptcy liquidation, if such process involves a transfer of your personal information, we will require the new company or organization that holds your personal information to abide by this Privacy Policy. Otherwise, we will require this company or organization to ask for your permission and consent again.

We share your personal information only for legitimate, justified, necessary, specific, and clear purposes, and share the personal information only necessary for the provision of services. Our partners have no right to use your personal information obtained from OPPO for any other purposes.

3.2 We disclose your personal information ONLY in the following situations:

(1) After obtaining your explicit consent; or

(2) Legal disclosure: Should we be legally required to comply with subpoenas or other legal procedures, litigations, or mandatory requirements of government authorities, we may disclose your personal information if we sincerely believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your or others' safety, investigate fraud, or respond to government requests.

4 How We Protect Your Personal Information

4.1 We have taken reasonable, feasible managerial measures and technical measures, including but not limited to encrypted transmission and storage, to protect your personal information we collect.

4.2 We have adopted security measures that are in line with industry standards to protect the personal information you provide, and to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, use, modification, damage, or loss of the data.

4.3 In the event of a personal information security incident, we will, in accordance with the requirements of relevant laws and regulations, promptly inform you and take remedial measures. At the same time, we will report to the regulatory authority as required how we handle the personal information security incident.

5 Your Rights to Your Personal Information

OPPO RESPECTS YOUR RIGHTS TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION. We protect your rights as a data subject in accordance with laws, including the rights to be informed, of access, to rectification, and to erasure. In compliance with laws, you have the right to file a complaint with our data protection officer at privacy@oppo.com. We will reply at the earliest possible time after we receive your complaint.

6 Third-Party Service Providers and Their Services

6.1 This system may contain links to third-party websites, products, and services. Please carefully read the privacy policy of the third-party website, product, or service. You may choose whether to visit websites or accept products or services offered by third parties.

6.2 We have no control over third-party privacy and data protection policies as such third parties are not bound by this Privacy Policy. Before you submit personal information to third parties, please read and understand their privacy protection policies.

7 How Your Personal Information Is Transferred Globally

Headquartered in China, OPPO is a company with global operations. We provide services worldwide, which means, in compliance with local laws and regulations and with your permission and consent, your personal information may be transferred to, or accessed by, areas outside the country or region in which you use the product or service. Currently, OPPO has established data centers in regions such as the mainland of China, Singapore, France, and India. We may transfer and store your personal information to or in overseas facilities. Data protection laws in these countries or regions may differ from those in the country/region where you use the product or service.

You understand that risks are different under different data protection laws. Given that, we take measures to ensure that the data we collect is processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable laws, and that your personal information is equally protected as it is in the country or region where you use the product or service. We will request your consent to transfer your personal information across borders, implement security measures such as encryption or de-identification, or sign necessary data transmission or sharing agreements with data recipients prior to cross-border data transfer.

8 How This Privacy Policy Is Updated

We reserve the right to update or modify this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will send you notification of updates through different channels. This Privacy Policy is subject to adjustments. However, without your express consent, we will not diminish your rights under this Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to the above Privacy Policy, then we cannot collect and use the information necessary to provide the service, and cannot provide you with normal services.
